António Rocha

Miguel Rocha is a Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in software development and quality engineering. He specializes in building modern test automation solutions using Playwright and TypeScript, helping teams deliver reliable and scalable software with confidence.

His career in technology began in 2010 as an OutSystems consultant, where he gained early experience designing and implementing solutions for different clients. This period helped him develop strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new technological environments.

Between 2014 and 2021, he worked as a Front-End Developer, focusing on building user-friendly and visually engaging web applications. This experience gave him a deep understanding of user experience and interface design, which continues to influence the way he approaches software testing today.

Since 2021, Miguel has focused on quality engineering and test automation, designing testing strategies that improve product reliability and reduce manual regression effort. His work combines development and testing practices, allowing him to create robust automation frameworks and scalable end-to-end testing solutions.

Currently, Miguel works at Intermedia as a Software Developer Engineer in Test, where he develops automated testing solutions using Playwright and TypeScript. His work includes both manual and automated testing, test architecture design, and integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Miguel is an alumnus of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), where he built the technical foundation that supports his engineering approach today.
